Get your Aadhar Number (UID)


Each individual needs to enroll only once which is free of cost. Each Aadhaar number will be unique to an individual and will remain valid for life. Aadhaar number will help you provide access to services like banking, mobile phone connections and other Govt and Non-Govt services in due course.

The Aadhaar is mandatory by the Government in the India for all the citizen. If anybody wants to get their own Unique Aadhaar Number then they have to register at your nearest Aadhaar enrollment centre. Follow the given step to get your Aadhaar number:

i) Proof of Name / Photo Identity [any one of the below]:

  1. Passport

  2. PAN card

  3. Ration / PDS Card

  4. Voter ID

  5. Govt Photo ID

  6. NREGS Job Card

  7. Arms License

  8. Photo Bank ATM / Credit Card

  9. Pensioner Card

  10. Freedom Fighter Card

  11. Kissan Photo Passbook

  12. Address Card having the name and photo issues by department of post.

ii)Proof of Address[any one of the below]:

  1. Passport

  2. Bank Statement

  3. Passbook

  4. Post Office

  5. Ration Card

  6. Voter ID / Drivers License

  7. Water / Electricity / Telephone land line / Property Tax Rcpt

  8. Credit Card Statement not older than 3 months

  9. NREGS Job Card

  10. Arms License

  11. Photo Bank ATM / Credit Card

  12. Pensioner Card

  13. Freedom Fighter Card

  14. Kissan Photo Passbook

  15. Address Card having the name and photo issues by department of post.

  16. Proof of Date of Birth [any one of the below]:

  17. Passport

  18. SSLC Certificate

  19. Date Of Birth certificate

  • They will complete

  • 1) document verification

  • 2) biometric scanning of iris

  • 3) biometric scanning of 10 finger prints

  • 4) capture a picture and complete your registration by giving you an acknowledgement receipt.

This receipt will contain your Aadhaar number (UID) that can be used anywhere in India to verify your Identity. You will also get your UID card in 30 days. You can check your online Aadhaar status here.
